The I.E.D Unit (Ion-Exchange Decal Unit)  incorporates a strong cation ion-exchange resin in a weak acid solution to remove calcium ions from bone, replacing them with hydrogen ions.

These buffers unmask epitopes that have been cross-linked by formalin fixation. These HIER solutions are specially formulated for superior pH stability at high temperatures. All Decloaker solutions incorporate Assure™ color-coded pH indicator technology, this assures by visual inspection that the solution is at the correct dilution and pH.

Pretreatment with an enzyme digestion is required for many IHC protocols. The Carezyme series have been designed to provide the optimum digestion and are optimized for ease of use.

One of our most popular blocking reagents, Background Sniper is specifically formulated for superior pH stability and is sodium azide and thimerosal free. It is a universal blocking reagent used for reducing nonspecific background staining often found with immunohistochemistry, ELISA, immunoelectron microscopy and immunogold techniques.
